Scenario:
BlueCell Electronics is a company that manufactures a wide variety of consumer electronics. Two of its most popular products are its BlueCell Smartphone and BlueCell Tablet. Since the technology industry is highly competitive, BlueCell wants to gain a better understanding about how its products are viewed.

BlueCell decides to conduct a survey. Specifically, it wants to understand if both of its products are viewed favorably. They administer the following survey to 200 consumers who own both a BlueCell Smartphone and a BlueCell Tablet:

Q1: One-way Tabulation/Univariate t-test
Management believes the average satisfaction rating for our Smartphone is 6, based on historical data. What can you tell management about the satisfaction level for BlueCell’s smartphone?

That the average rating is 5. So that means the customers satisfaction is actually lower than they believe it is.









Q2: Cross-tabulation
Management thinks that there are gender differences in the perception of quality for BlueCell products. They plan to make their future marketing efforts targeted primarily towards women. Is this a good idea based on our data?



No it is not a good idea because based off the data their customers are mostly male instead of female.





Q3: Comparing means - Related sample t-test
Historically, the average rating for cell phone usefulness and cell phone satisfaction were consistently similar and considered to be very closely related at Bluecell. Management is interested in finding out whether not this trend is still accurate Before developing and media campaign that will highlight how useful their phones are. Are the ratings for usefulness and satisfaction the similar?

Yes the ratings of usefulness and satisfaction are similar because their average ratings is only different by .09




Q4: Comparing Means - Independent sample t-test
Management at BlueCell is now interested in whether there are gender differences in the level of satisfaction with the BlueCell tablet. They want to know who they should target with their new ad campaign. Are there differences in tablet satisfaction between genders?
Out of the 108 men that answered he survey the average is 4.009 while out of the 92 women who answered the survey the average is 3.946 which means that men are more satisfied than women with the product
